A vCloudOne solution is implemented in an extremely reliable environment, on VMware enable servers.

The solution (server, switches, firewalls) is spread across 2 individual datacenters.
These 2 datacenters are connected through redundant hig-speed data fibers.

The shared platform exists out of:

		fysical servers (redundant CPUs, RPS, multiple disks, etc...)
		the implementation of VMware ESX server with connection to the SAN storage. Remote configuration on management console to manage the virtual data
		the configuration of VM's backup environment
		the security and network on a redundant switching and firewall platfom

You are responsible for creating and managing the virtual machines, the OS's and the applications running virtualy. All manageable from your office.
